In this talk, I will present a study on a class of multilienar Fourier multipliers and pseudo-differential operators with flag-type symbols, which were first introduced by Muscalu. The symbols for these operators can be written as the product of ones in lower dimensions, therefore they may have the singularities along hyperplanes other than just the origin. We show that certain Lp and Hp boundedness holds for these operators. This is a joint work with J. Qiao.
